It’s muggy and mild this Thursday morning! Feels like the middle of summer out there! There’s some showers moving in from the west but much like yesterday, they’re not likely to last. We’re waiting on a cold front to arrive later this afternoon. No change in my thinking from yesterday. You can easily get a near full day of outdoor work in before afternoon/evening showers/storms arrive. No severe weather is expected. Most afternoon showers/storms develop after 3-4PM and diminish prior to midnight.
Expect refreshing air for Friday! After today’s rain, fog is LIKELY to be thick in spots early Friday morning. Leave some extra time and watch for kids at the bus stops. With plenty of sun, it’ll be a beautiful day and a nice night for high school football.
Grab the hoodies Saturday morning. It’ll be cool with most communities waking up in the 40s. Cold hollows will be in the 30s with perhaps a patch or two of frost in places like Lopez. That’d be the second time in about a week that they would have seen frost up there. Highs will be on either side of 70 on Saturday. A beautiful day!
