It’s MUGGY to start you Thursday morning morning with the last of the rain showers from last night exiting to the East. We ended up with 0.24″ of rain in the gauge this morning at our house. How much rain did you see last night? Share your report in the comments!
It remains muggy today with temperatures running warmer than average. Highs today will be on either side of 80. Our next system arrives overnight. A few rain showers are possilbe but not likely to be as heavy as what we experienced last night.
Drier air filters in from the north on Friday. What a great way to end the week. Yes – it’ll be foggy in the morning. Potentially pretty thick too in the usual spots. WATCH OUT FOR KIDS AT THE BUS STOPS!!!
However – the fog lifts, we’ll see plents of sun and highs in the 70s. Weather cools very comfortable for the high school football games Friday evening.
Moisture lifts up from the south on Saturday. It becomes more humid through the day. It’s likely to be dry in the morning with an increasing chance for rain in the afternoon into the evening. Some thunderstorms are also possible which would help increase the risk for locally heavy rainfall. As of now, I’m not expecting widespread flash flooding issues. Isolated instances of flash flooding would be possible should the localized downpours come to fruition. I’ll be monitoring this for you.
