A mostly cloudy sky with continued flurries and snow showers are the rule this morning. A Northwest wind continues to cary the moisture off of the mostly unfrozen Lake Ontario. Temperatures have already topped out for the day in the upper 20s. They will generally hold in the mid 20s for the remainder of the day. Winds will slacken this evening and overnight.
High pressure settles in overhead for Friday morning. Temperatures in the single digits and low teens are expected to start the morning. Looks like a fairly sunny day too. A nice day to end the work week.
A weak system will clip through Friday night and early Saturday morning. Some flurries and light snow showers are likely with that. The afternoon and evening look quiet – great for your Valentine’s evening plans.
